• Formulation Development: Once the final vision is set, your idea will come to life in the hands of our development chemist, who will create an innovative and effective formulation for your product. Carefully selected certified raw materials will be used, resulting in a prototype sample for your testing. The prototype will then be optimized based on your feedback, new ideas, and comments until it is perfect.

Our goal is to develop an innovative and effective formula for your innovative or white label cosmetics, grounded in the latest scientific research and industry trends, which you can finalize by simply adding your branded packaging.

• Testing and Validation: Once the prototype is complete, it undergoes rigorous tests and evaluations following European and global regulations to ensure safety, efficacy, and compliance throughout the product’s expected lifespan.
• Optimization and Customization: Based on feedback and test results, final technical adjustments are made to the formulation to achieve optimal results.
• Product Information File (PIF) Generation: The PIF document is a crucial component of cosmetic product documentation, ensuring product safety and compliance with European regulation. It contains all essential product information, including ingredients, formulation, safety assessments, and test results. Required for cosmetic products sold within the EU, it serves as the product’s “identity card.” When developing products with us, the PIF is included as part of the final deliverable.

Alternative Approaches to Cosmetic Formulation Developlment

• Formulation Adaptation to qualify for different Certifications: We also offer formulation preparation according to the requirements for obtaining various quality certifications. As certification standards differ among global and European providers, it is important to inform us which of all available certificates you have your eye on before formulation development begins.
• Reverse Formulation: This service involves analyzing and mimicking existing products from other providers that you liked beforehead and who inspired you. While the final product will still be completely unique and chemically distinct from the original inspiration, the goal is to achieve similar visual characteristics and skin benefits as some other product that already exists.
• Safety Assessment and Testing for Existing Products: If you already have a product developed and manufactured outside European Union, remember that a PIF document is still mandatory for the product to go on sale in EU market – including a mandatory safety assessment. We offer testing and safety evaluation services for existing products intended for import into the EU.

Note: Test results and safety assessments for products not developed with us can result in negative/insufficient test results or indicate the need for formulation changes. We provide preliminary consultations, interpretation of final results, and advise on necessary adjustments and possible solutions. With products developed with us we are commited from the start to deliver a product, that passes all safety assessments.
